Galvanized and black vinyl-coated chain link for dogs, yards, and larger lots in Greenville, Anderson, and across the Upstate.
Not every job is a white vinyl privacy fence. Some yards need a dog to stay in. Some Anderson County lots need 400 feet of boundary that will not eat the whole budget. Some people just want a clean, see-through line that lasts. That is chain link.
We install galvanized and black vinyl-coated chain link across Anderson, Greenville, and the rest of the Upstate towns we serve. Same crew, same on-site measure, same written quote you get on a privacy job.
Galvanized is the silver zinc-coated mesh most people grew up with. It is tough, it is the better price, and it belongs on utility lines, large perimeters, and farm-adjacent lots south of Anderson toward Starr and Iva. Black vinyl-coated chain link is the same idea with a darker finish that disappears into landscaping. Greenville and Powdersville homeowners pick black when the HOA will allow chain link at all, or when the fence sits close to the house and bare galvanized would stick out.
A lot of newer Greenville subdivisions will not approve chain link on a street-facing line. We will tell you that on the first visit instead of selling you a fence the ARC is going to reject. On those lots, vinyl or aluminum is usually the path. On a county lot with a dog and a side yard nobody sees from the road, chain link is often the honest answer.
Most chain link calls start with a dog. Height matters. So does the bottom of the mesh. We set the line so there is not a gap a determined lab can wriggle under, and we talk through gates you will actually use every day, not a single 4-foot walk gate at the far corner of the lot.
Upstate yards are rarely flat. Red clay, a fall toward a creek, and a property line that does not match the neighbor's old fence are normal. We stretch the mesh tight, set terminals and corners the way a chain link job is supposed to be built, and can add privacy slats if you want a bit of screening without jumping to a full vinyl wall. Different heights and gauges are available. Ask on the estimate.
